Choose a chord using the drop-down boxes.
The notes used to make up this chord are: A, C# and E.
How to Use the HotFrets Chord Finder

Here's an example of how to use the Chord Finder:
To choose the C chord, just select "C" from the first box and click the "Get Chord" button. To select Cmin, select the "C" in the first box and the "min" in the second box and click the "Get Chord" button. To choose Cmin7, add the "7" from the third box. The various fingerings are displayed to the right of the chord symbol and the fret numbers are indicated to the left of the vertical chord-chart.

The chord finder is a quick way to find out how to play a chord in any key in every position. Currently every major, minor, dim7, maj7, min7 chord is loaded in the chord finder. Study the long chart of the guitar neck at the bottom to find other combinations of these notes. Any combination of the A, C# and E notes will form this chord. Try some of your own combinations by studying the chart of the longer guitar fingerboard. For more advanced chords check out the HotFrets Arpeggiator.

Position the Chordfinder screen at the top
