Simply select a root note and scale type and then click the "get scale" button. Use your computer's mouse to play the notes of the guitar scale in different combinations by mousing over the note names on the guitar fretboard graphic or pick up your guitar and find various patterns from the fretboard display.

THE GUITAR SCALES PRACTICE PLAYER
For a little fun and practice, choose a style in the practice player area and click the "open" button. Click the "play" button in the practice player after it opens and pick up your guitar and play along using the notes of the scale displayed in the guitar fretboard display of the scale creator.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have a pop-up blocker you will most likely have to disable it in order to allow the guitar practice player to open.

You can allow the guitar practice player to continue to loop while you select another guitar scale type using the same root note. If you wish to choose another root note and play along with the practice player, you'll need to close the practice player first and re-open it after choosing your new root and scale.

To change the color of the pick, click the color you desire in the pick colors options.
